Rip Curl Peniche store opens

According to RIP CURL Portugal “with 350 m² just a few meters from Praia do Baleal and a few hundred meters from Supertubos, the new Rip Curl store offers a privileged view of the Rip Curl World products, with men and women surf clothing, in addition to a specialized section with boards, wetsuits and all kinds of surf accessories”.

Rip Curl has a long-standing relationship with Peniche. Since the 1980s, Peniche has been the brand’s national base. The most obvious reason is the quality of the waves. Supertubos is one of the best beachbreaks in Europe and has been one of the main WSL stops since 2009.

“We are very proud to build such an ambitious project in our homeland, Peniche”, explains José Farinha, General Manager of the Australian brand in Portugal.

The enterprise has, in addition to the store, a whole set of support and framing infrastructures. The architecture project was designed by “João Farinha Arquitetos Associados” who explored the brand’s concept and translated it brilliantly into a commercial area that deserves to be visited.

Projectual developed all the projects in the engineering areas, highlighting the integration of a mixed structure and solutions with high energy efficiency.
