“Universidade de Lisboa” Student Residence on Ajuda Campus – Phase 2

Inauguration of the 2nd phase of the ULisboa Student Residence on the Ajuda Campus – Ventura Terra Residence.

According to the University of Lisbon website:

“The inauguration of the 2nd phase of the Ventura Terra Residence was attended by His Excellency the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre and the Mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas.

Increasing student accommodation has been one of ULisboa’s priorities. The Ventura Terra Residence has a total of 307 beds, 123 of which are the result of the extension that is now being inaugurated. The project was designed by the CVDB Arquitectos design team, which includes Diogo Burnay, Cristina Veríssimo, Rodolfo Reis and Joana Barrelas.

The National Agency for the Management of the Erasmus+ Education and Training Programme manages and implements the National Accommodation Programme for Higher Education (PNAES) supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). This programme allocated funding of €2,419,389.77 for the construction of the new blocks of the Ventura Terra Residence.

The University of Lisbon prioritises meeting the needs of its students and will remain committed to guaranteeing the right conditions to enable them to attend higher education and actively promote their academic success.”

Projectual is proud to have ensured all the speciality areas of the project, which was awarded to CVDB in an International Architecture Competition.

Arrow’s Nobilus development in Vilamoura highlighted in the media

According to the Arrow website:

“‘Five minutes from the centre, the beach and the marina of Vilamoura, Nobilus will have 47 two, three and four bedroom flats.
The units will have areas between 107 and 202 square metres, and residents will be able to enjoy private and communal swimming pools and private parking.
Sustainability is one of the main focuses of this project, whose construction uses cross-laminated timber (CLT), an alternative with a lower carbon footprint.”

The property investment is being managed by NORFIN, the market leader in Portugal, which hired “Fragmentos de Arquitetura” to draw up the project.
Projectual is proud to participate in ensuring all areas of Special Installations, with an emphasis on the sustainability of solutions throughout the entire life cycle.
The project was highlighted on CNN Portugal’s “metro quadrado” programme.
